Rear
mount starters are often an excellent choice for onboard
starters when the engine is avaiable with a rear shaft
and there is adequate room through the firewall. The
CG is of the starter is behind the engine.
To mount these starters, we machine a ring gear and
hub and suitable brackets. Normally, all moving parts
are completely enclosed.
These starters utilize a Bendix assembly so the starter
is completely disengaged once the engine is running.
The modular design makes installation and maintenance
